AIR MARSHAL SP DHARKARAIR OFFICER COMMANDING-IN-CHIEF EASTERN AIR COMMANDVISITS AIR FORCE STATION KALAIKUNDA.


Air Marshal SP Dharkar, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Air Command and Mrs Smita Dharkar, President, Air Force Family Welfare Association (Regional) visited Air Force Station Kalaikunda on 16 Feb 23 for the Valedictory 
Function of 208 Pilot Course.
Air Marshal SP Dharkar presided over the Valedictory Function marking the successful culmination of Hawk training for 208 Pilot Course, who will now move to frontline Combat Squadrons. He awarded trophies to the pilots who excelled in different phases of training and congratulated officers and trainers on the successful completion of the course. He exhorted the pilots to inculcate the highest standards of 
mental and physical discipline and to live upto the core values of the IAF.
During the visit, the Air Marshal was also briefed upon the operational, maintenance and administrative preparedness of the Station. The Air Marshal utilised this opportunity to visit the nearby Air Force Station Salua.
