BSF NORTH BENGAL FRONTIER OBSERVES GANDHI JAYANTI AND CELEBRATED DUSSEHRA.

Shri Mukesh Tyagi, IG, performed the traditional 'Shashtra Puja' (worship of weapons) at the Durga Mandir, seeking blessings for the Nation's Security and well-being of the Jawans.

Inspector general, BSF North Bengal Frontier extended his heartfelt congratulations to all BSF Jawans and their families on the festive occasion, further, highlighted the profound message behind the Dussehra. He explained that the burning of Ravan's effigy is celebrated symbolically to signify the triumph of good over evil and the end of negativity. This festival, he noted, serves as a crucial reminder to overcome inner demons and vices like pride and ego.

IG North Bengal Frontier concluded by urging all BSF personnel to embrace the core values of righteousness, humility, and compassion in their lives of Mahatma Gandhi.
