IPS Trainees visit Trishakti Corps HQ, Sukna 

Trainee officers of the Indian Police Service visited Trishakti Corps HQ, Sukna as part of their week long attachment with the Indian Army.

The visit aimed to provide an overview of security challenges in North #Bengal and #Sikkim, including the difficult terrain and extreme weather, and highlight the region’s strategic importance.

They also had an interaction with the GOC, Trishakti Corps, who spoke on leadership and the Whole-of-Nation Approach to national security.

During the attachment, the trainees will also be visiting forward areas to gain first-hand exposure to operational environments.
