INAUGURATION OF ARMY INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT KOLKATA AT NEW TOWN, RAJARHAT.

New Campus of Army Institute of Management (AIMK) at Rajarhat was inaugurated by General Officer Commanding in Chief, Eastern Command on 27 May 2021. The new campus boasts of an ultra-modern and smart academic infrastructure and fully residential WiFi enabled facility constructed at an approximate cost of Rs 100 Crore. 
AIMK, a NAAC accredited and ISO  9001-2015 certified institution was established at Alipore within Command Hospital complex in July 1997 by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) to conduct state - of - the - art Management programme both for the wards of Army personnel and general category. The institute envisions to groom it’s students into motivated, disciplined young managers, capable of steering and driving their corporate organization to successfully achieve its goals in a fiercely competitive environment. The institute is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT). 
The Institute, in its two decade plus existence has established itself as a centre of excellence in the field of business education, and has provided an enabling environment to students which has empowered them to surpass their potential.  Alumni have made a mark in the professional environment through their discipline, commitment and professionalism.  
Despite the pandemic, economic slowdown and disruptive impact of technologies, AIMK consistently ensured cent percent placement for their students with the average annual CTC last year being above Rs 5 lakh.
