TRISHAKTI CORPS ORGANISES RALLY FOR EX-SERVICEMEN.

1. Black Cat Division  of Trishakti Corps organised a Rally for the Ex-Servicemen fraternity on 16 Oct 2022 under the aegis of Station Headquarter, Pedong. The rally provided a forum to the Armed Forces Veteran Community to seek greater awareness on the ongoing and newly introduced welfare schemes and initiatives implemented by the Indian Armed Forces.  

2. The rally was attended by nearly 400 Services Veterans including Veer Naris and their Next of Kin residing in Dalapchand, Algarah, Pedong, Aritar, Rongli, Padamchen & Zuluk sub Divisions of West Bengal & Sikkim. Representatives from 58 Gorkha Training Centre, 39 Gorkha Training Centre, Gorkha Recruiting Depot and Trishakti Corps were present for immediate redressal of Grievances as per the Veteran outreach initiative.

3. Brig Dhananjai Palsokar, Sena Medal, Deputy General Officer Commanding, Black Cat Division, felicitated the Veer Naris on the occasion and also distributed wheel chair to the elderly. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest also assured the Veterans of effective and continued support by the Indian Army and implementation of additional schemes for welfare of Ex-Servicemen fraternity. Brig SS Dhaliwal, Shaurya Chakra, Yudh Seva Medal, Station Commander, Pedong Military Station along with other dignitaries from civil administration and President Ex-Servicemen league were also present on the occasion. A medical camp comprising of specialist doctors organised on the occasion, provided medical assistance to the needy and was hugely appreciated.
