74th Republic Day, ADG, CRPF wished all officers, jawans and their family members a “Happy Republic Day

West Bengal Sector, CRPF celebrated 74th Republic Day at 3 Signal BN CRPF, Sector-V, Salt Lake, Kolkata (W.B). Shri Vitul Kumar, IPS, ADG, Central Zone, CRPF, took the salute and hoisted National flag in the Campus. During this occasion Shri Bidyut Sengupta, IG, West Bengal Sector, CRPF,  along with senior officers of CRPF, Sub ordinate Officers and Jawans were attended the Republic Day celebration.

In view of 74th Republic Day, ADG, CRPF wished all officers, jawans and their family members a “Happy Republic Day” and he briefed regarding the importance of the Day and our duties & responsibilities towards the nation. He also remembered the valour of our heroes and martyrs. He read out the names of Medal awardees in CRPF who have been awarded Medal for their commendable work in operational and administrative fronts which glorified the name of CRPF.  This year CRPF brave hearts have been awarded with highest number of bravery medals (03-Shaurya chakra and 48 Police medal for Gallantry Total-51) on this occasion.

Shri Vitul Kumar, IPS, ADG, Central Zone, CRPF presented Best BN trophy to 115 BN and Best Coast and effectiveness trophy to GC, CRPF Siliguri for their outstanding performance in operational and administrative ground during the year 2021-2022.
