MILITARY EQUIPMENT DISPLAY AND BAND CONCERT AT SILIGURI.
A “Military Equipment Display and Band Concert” was organised at Kanchenjunga Stadium, Siliguri by the Trishakti Corps on 20 January as a run up to 74th Republic Day. The event showcased the Indian Army’s sophisticated weapons and new generation equipments used by various arms of the Army. The event also included a fusion performance by Army Pipe and Jazz Band that enthralled the crowd with its majestic display.
The event was witnessed by large number of school children, youth, prominent media and people of Siliguri. The spirit and eagerness of the visitors added zest to the occasion. The event was an endeavour by the Trishakti Corps to spread awareness and pride among the youth and school children about the culture, ethos and combat profile of the Indian Army.
