ARMY RECOVER CACHE OF WAR LIKE STORES IN MANIPUR.

Acting on specific intelligence about presence of weapons and ammunition in general area Sabungkhok Khunao-Chanung heights in Imphal East district, of Manipur, a joint team of Indian Army, Assam Rifles and Manipur Police launched a search operation on 26 February 2024. The search resulted in recovery of one 12-bore single barrel gun, three improvised  Mortar, one 9mm pistol, three Grenades and ammunition.

The recovered items have been handed over to Police.
