Presently Central Reserve Police Force is the largest and oldest Para Military Force in the world. Today CRPF Raising Day.



84th Anniversary of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is celebrated today at 3 Signal BN, CRPF, Sector-V, Salt Lake, Kolkata (W.B). Shri Manoj Kumar Dubey, IGP, West Bengal Sector, CRPF was the chief guest and took salute on the occasion.
 
 Originally this force was raised on 27th July 1939 at Neemuch city, Madhya Pradesh state as the Crown* Representative Police. It was renamed as Central Reserve Police Force after Independence. Presently Central Reserve Police Force is the largest and oldest Para Military Force in the world. 
On this day, chief guest *Shri Manoj Kumar Dubey, IGP, West Bengal Sector* and other senior officers and jawans paid homage to the martyrs who have sacrificed their precious lives for safety and security of our nation across the country. 
*Shri Manoj Kumar Dubey, IGP,* recollect the raising and great successes of this force, like incident of “Rann of Katch”, “Hot spring” etc. which are observed by all police force in India as Valour Day” and “Police Commemoration Day”. And he also reminds all members to be an example to the citizen of India by exercising their dedication in performing their duties.

On the eve of 84th Anniversary of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), officers and jawans of this Sector HQR were awarded with DG’s Commendation Disc and Certificate for their commendable work.
