TRISHAKTI CORPS OF INDIAN ARMY CELEBRATES ‘SHAURYA UTSAV’ .

To venerate the supreme sacrifice made by our brave hearts and to uphold the honour of the Tricolour and the contributions thus made by Indian Army towards Nation were showcased as part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ by Trishakti Corps of Indian Army at Sukna on 16 July 2022. As part of the celebrations, a Shaurya Utsav was organized by Indian Army to showcase valour and bravery displayed by bravehearts during ‘Operation Vijay’. 

Indian Army had defeated nefarious designs of our adversary during Kargil War and thus preserved the integrity & sanctity of motherland. In doing so, many brave soldiers made the supreme sacrifice and it becomes pertinent for all of us to remember the fallen heroes and take inspiration from them. As part of the Shaurya Utsav, numerous events were organised. The event started with display of Capt Vikram Batra, PVC Hall and showcased the contributions of Indian Army during ‘Operation Vijay’. The event was followed by an enriching musical evening in which military and jazz bands took part. To depict an action during ‘Operation Vijay’, a light and sound show was organised to give glimpse of actual operations to the audience which left the audience awestruck with the amount of courage and determination shown by our bravehearts. It ended with the felicitation of gallantry award winners & Veer Naris by the Chief Guest Lt Gen Tarun Kumar Aich, AVSM, GOC Trishakti Corps. 

The event was attended by Kargil War Veterans, Veer Naris, Offrs & men from Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Central Armed Police Forces. The event was appreciated by the audience as it was a befitting tribute to the martyrs of Indian Army who made the supreme sacrifice in the service of the nation. Shaurya Utsav is an apt recognition of Indian Army’s contribution towards Nation and youth should follow the footsteps and join 

Indian Army.
