Interactive Outreach Activity in Collaboration with Village Linkage Cell, Paschim Guwahati Mahavidyalaya.

An engaging outreach programme was conducted by ARO Narangi under HQ Recruiting Zone Shillong at Rani High School, Kamrup Rural , Assam organised by Village Linkage Cell on 24 June 2025.

The intitiative witnesses enthusiastic participation from 83 Students. Army representatives shared detailed guidance on : 

1. Life in the Indian Army-Operational experiences & facilities.

2. Officer entry schemes and Agniveer recruitment features.

3. Eligibility criteria for Agniveer Tech, including education qualifications.

4. Bonus marks for NCC, ITI and sports certificates.

5. Step by step overview of CEE , rally process, and Join Indian Army  portal.

6. Anti-touting and fraud awareness.

7. Monthly pay, allowances and other benefits.

8. Career options for women in the Indian Army. 

Posters and awareness materials were also distributed to inspire and inform the youth about the proud career in Indian Army.
